Nuts! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Mtn State Reviewer: My fellow Volunteer Reviewer, Dot Plotter, politely requested an update over a month ago. As this has not been forthcoming, I'm archiving this listing because this cache has been disabled for an extended period of time. If the cache owner wishes to reactivate this cache, it can easily be unarchived if it still meets the current
(guidelines).

Otherwise, please remove any geo-bits so as not to create geo-litter.

Thanks,

Geocache Description:

Located in Coonskin Park. You can park on the lot across from the tennis courts. Please replace exactly as found.

The cache is an ammo can and contains several items relating to the Army or the Ariborne division. It is also my first hide, so let me know if the coordinates are off or anything else needs fixed.

You are probably wondering about the name. During the Battle of Bastogne in WWII, American commander, General McAuliffe and his men from the 101st Airborne were surrounded. When the German commander demanded surrender, McAuliffe sent this reply, "To the German commander,NUTS, from the American commander."

The cach is placed near the fitness trail that the local Army recruiters use to get recruits in shape.Come prepared for a hike and watch the trai as it is muddy after it rains!

FTF goes to EliJoMikMiNi! Congrats!
