The third of a series of 3 caches hidden in the gorgeous Millard Canyon near the stream and the 50 foot Falls.
From the second cache, continue crossing the stream and heading up the winding canyon. This one is 0.1 miles from Millard Falls and only about a 25 minute walk from the car—even with high water levels. You’re looking for a small camo’d plastic jar.
The best time to go is in the winter or spring after rainfall. Many families hike to the falls with their dogs, infants in backpacks, and children over say 7 years old. With low water levels, the terrain is only a 3 (or even a 2.5). However, if the water level is high, a few of the stream crossings can be a little difficult. The most difficult stream crossing is the first one after climbing the short wall. If you cross this one, the rest are pretty easy! I’m only rating the terrain a 4 because with high water level, it may be that way. You’re looking for a small camo’d plastic jar. GPSr reception in the canyon can be spotty!
