This cache is located near the former site of St. Michael's Catholic Church. The steeple is still there along with part of the wall, but there isn't much else standing.
I've been meaning to hide a cache here for a month or so, but life as a college student keeps me very busy. Finally, my dad and I went out caching and we made this our last stop before going our separate ways for the Super Bowl. Anyway, the container is a small bleach canister with room for geocoins and small Travel Bugs. It contains a logbook and pen, but bring your own writing utensil just in case the ink is frozen in winter. The title of this cache originates at the location of the cache. A number of years ago, a car with two occupants went through the stop sign of this intersection and met their deaths by hitting this object.
The WSQ in the cache title refers to Wisconsin Spirit Quest. This acronym is used by cache owners in the state to identify their cemetery caches. As this is classified as a cemetery cache please note it is NOT hidden on any grave marker or site. If there is a service going on, or folks are visiting their loved ones when you arrive please be respectful and come back at a later time. Your understanding and compassion for those people will be appreciated.
