The Parnell Rose Garden is a beautiful garden in Auckland, and we thought that adding a traditional cache would attract more people to this lovely place.
The roses in the garden are modern with over 4500 bushes. From spring to early fall the roses will be at their best. As a matter of fact, every year around November there's the Parnell Festival of Roses, with a huge variety of events planned during the weekend. To find out more about it, visit: (visit link)
The cache is easy and accessible, in an area suitable for children. The gardens are nicer during the day but would be possible to find at night with a torch. It's a small blue Sistema box. Contents at the time of placement are:-
- Logbook
- Silica gel (please do not take)
- Robot mobile accessory hanging thingy
- Pen
