This cache series is developed to showcase, not only the variety seen in this county, but also the variety of approaches to geocaching. Enjoy the journey as you explore Berks County, for you will be seeing the county for the Jewel it is.

Berks County, PA has a long diverse history that dates back to before the revolutionary war. Berks County was Formed on March 11, 1752 with the help of local patriot Conrad Weiser. Berks County was named after William Penn's home of Berkshire, England. From the Blue Mountains in the north to the Amish farmland in the south, Berks County holds great geographic and cutural variety. This cache series is developed to showcase, not only the variety seen in this county, but also the variety of approaches to geocaching. Enjoy the journey as you explore Berks County, for you will be seeing the county for the Jewel it is.

Northern Corner of Berks - Supreme Vistas
Southern Corner of Berks - Amish Heritage
Eastern Corner of Berks - State Game Lands
Western Corner of Berks - Forgotten History?

Each of these caches provides a number needed to determine the coordinates of this cache. These numbers are added and subtracted from the minutes in the posted coordinates above. They are calculated as follows:

THE POSTED NORTH COORDINATE PLUS THE NUMBER IN THE NORTH
CORNER CACHE, MINUS THE NUMBER IN THE SOUTH CORNER CACHE.

THE POSTED WEST COORDINATE PLUS THE NUMBER IN THE WEST
CORNER CACHE MINUS THE NUMBER IN THE EAST CORNER CACHE.
