Turtle in the Snow Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

GG+J: I was doing a check of my caches, and stopped by this one on this fine Spring evening.
Unfortunately, the turtle has been taken home as a pet. So, as predicted, I will have to archive this cache.
Probably just as well, as a goose has settled into a nest VERY close to Ground Zero, and visitors would disturb her.
Thanks to all that came out - all good things must come to an end!

Geocache Description:

Having just returned from snorkelling with turtles, I was inspired to place a cache which features them. And it doesn't hurt to suck up to our illustrious leader

The cache is an easy winter find in a small park that isn't seeing much action right now. The gates into the little park are closed in winter, but you could park in the approach. Alternatively, you could park on side streets and cross Henderson. If you choose to do that, move faster than a turtle, or use the crosswalk.
Original contents include a turtle candle, a frog beanie, some coins from the land where giant turtles feed on seagrass, a mini-heart, logsheet and tiny pencil, and a FTF cert.
Remember that you should replace cache as you found it, and never steal a turtle's house!
