Geocache Description:

Parking is on a very narrow shoulder so kids are not recommended. This cemetery has not been maintained so thorns, nettles and other such hazzards
exist so bushwacking may be required and sturdy shoes are highly recommended. For those of you that run without reading, you will find the above coordinates are nothing more then the best access in to the cemetery.

While doing some research for another cache I was planning, I stumbled across a map that referred to Dieringer Cemetery near Lake Tapps. I performed a search on that name which did not yield anything. I then searched on cemetery and Lake Tapps and found a few entries which were nothing more then people looking for "Lake Tapps Cemetery".

This cache was put in place to bring awareness to a forgotten cemetery. I have lived in the area for 15 years and did not know this existed; I want others to see a forgotten place and see if people want to volunteer to restore the grounds. It appears that nearby residents have used it to throw yard clippings.

The cache is a small Lock & Lock container with room for small trade items, travel bugs and geocoins. There is an FTF challenge coin asking the FTF person to take the coin, create a new cache and pass the FTF coin on the the next FTF.

Congrats to Tomison for FTF!
