Geocache Description:

The posted coordinates ARE NOT for the cache location but will put you at a place where you can receive help. Instead, you must solve the chem-mystery to find the cache.

The cache is at North AA EG DHD and West FDC AB DFF.

A = the number of valence electrons of aluminum

B = the oxidation state of a ferrous cation

C = the number of bonds that carbon usually makes

D = the number of valence electrons for most noble gases

E = the number of 3d electrons that manganese has

F = the number of electrons that neon needs to gain to achieve stability

G = the number of protons that carbon has

H = the atomic number of fluorine

All of these answers can be found pretty readily by doing a little chemical research. Enjoy your visit to the periodic table!

New note: The coords will bring you to the top of two sets of old staircases. The cache was hidden in a pipe of the handrail at the top of one; however, the handrail has disappeared. Go to the top of the steps and face the Marietta square. Turn 180 degrees and walk 40 paces.

Congratulations to FTF TurtleCowboy!!
