Geocache Description:

Great seasonal water fall that most people miss and very few know there is a great swimming hole at the top of the hill. You do not have to go to the top to reach the cache.

I first found this looking for berry's that would live in the lower desert. I had just made a sales call to the mine and just took off my tie and climbed this in my dress cloths. I was told there where wild berry's growing here. I did not find the berry's but did find a great hidden swimming hole. As I was coming down I saw a couple below me all decked out in climbing gear including ropes and the whole nine yards trying to figure the best way to go up where I was at. They looked pretty sheepish when they saw me coming down. This general area has become very popular with muggle climbers. This should not be to hard, and you do not need to go to the top to reach this cache. Though I would recommend taking your swim suit and enjoying a nice soak in the hidden pool at the top. It will require some climbing and is not recommended for small kids or those who are in poor shape. This is a large container hidden under rocks Please put it back like you found it. My GPS was having a hard time in this canyon, my west reading was .058-.063 The best time to go do this is just after a big storm in the early spring. You will be surprised you never saw the beauty of this fall as you speed around the curves at 60 mph. They have now put permanent hand holds to help you reach the top, this a lot easier that 15 years ago when I first climbed it.

THIS IS HIDDEN UNDER A PILE OF ROCKS ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE CREEK. If you are at the big pool in the middle of the falls you are to high up.(You are not to high but you can't get there from the pool you will have to go down and over) Go down a little and to the east as far as you can go you will see a crack between two boulders just big enough to wedge a foot in and climb up. Climb up until your north reading is right and then go east as far as you can. This is very well hidden and even if there are a lot of people in the area you should be able to get in and out with out being noticed. This is in a canyon and you east west reading will be a little crazy so I am giving more detailed directions. I just checked it 3/11/08 and it was just fine.
