Geocache Description:

UPDATE 8/11/22: When I first placed this as part of the Monopoly Challenge 14 years ago, this was all woods, and this was a fun gadgety thing hanging in a tree. Alas, now you're just looking for a preform container in the only tree within 20' of the coords. (This whole area has been clearcut in recent years.  😪)

FOR POSTERITY, HERE'S THE ORIGINAL CACHE TEXT.

For this challenge, I chose the only card available that adhered to my personal cache-naming conventions.

You're looking for a winter-friendly small round Lock-and-Lock container. BYOP. Please try to replace the cache as you find it, and please don't take the tower.

St. Charles Borromeo seemed the perfect place to put this, but the area near its driveway being dangerous, and the beautiful land of the church itself being private, I opted to find a spot behind the church on Hill Rd. where one might have a view of its steeple. After an interesting trek, I still hadn't found that place. But I didn't leave my expedition without hiding this thing.

I wasn't prepared, so the log sheet's kind of unpolished, there's no FTF prize, and the hide is much more random than usual for me. But I can finally let go of my obligation on the viral Monopoly cache, and hopefully I've contributed an enjoyable drive, stroll, and hunt to your day. Just remember—getting there's half the fun.

(Pretty spot on the hill! If you're a parishioner, it would be great if you could get permission to hide a cache here!)
