Geocache Description:

Brilliant United Methodist Church

The 32 churches that make up the Hallelujah Trail stand as landmarks in North Alabama. Each church is at least 100 years old, is on it's original site, and is still holding services. The pastor and congregation has given us the ok to have this geocache on the church property as long as we leave things as they are found.

The United Methodist Church in Brilliant, Alabama was built by local coal miners and is in a scenic small town setting. It has the church bell to call everyone to service and the beautiful stained glass windows.

I have placed some of the brochures in a small coffee can. When you find it please take one and try to visit the other churches on this trail. Or even better set out another geocache at one of the other churches. There are other small trinkets and a FTF gift. Happy Hunting!
