While in Adair, came across a little park that looked like it could
use some tender care. Saw a momument and went to see the
significant. It was a monument to Chief Warrant Officer, George
Swartzendruber, who was the only soldier killed in action from
Oklahoma during Operation Desert Storm. The flags look a little
raggedy and maybe if enough people come to this site, the locals
might make the area more presentable in honor of the soldier from
their hometown. This cache is wheelchair accessible.
