Cache is a camoed plastic tube, about 4 inches long. If the skate park is open, you'll either need to be invisible or come back another time if you don't want to be seen, as muggles will be all over the place. The cache is OUTSIDE THE SKATEPARK. There is no need to enter the park to find the cache. Cache can hold VERY small items, but you'll need to bring your own pen.
This is a busy part of Oak Island. Just north of you, toward Oak Island Drive, is Middleton Park, with lots of playground fun for the kiddies. As you face the skate park, behind you lie softball, baseball, tee-ball and soccer fields. To your right, closer to the ocean, is a blue building that holds the town's Ocean Education Center. The hours vary, but both the skate park and education center are lots of fun.
