Located on the Lake Texana State Park Hike and Bike Trail. Flat terrain, less than a mile hike. Great one for the kids.
This Geocache was placed February 2008 by the fathers and daughters of the Safari Princess Adventure Guides, Circle of the Bats. Everyone from our Circle contributed an item to make this one excellent Geocache.
You should begin your quest at Lake Texana State Park trail head #4 (N 28º 57.817', W 096º 32.371'). This is very important because it is here that you will find a map that will help you on your journey. When you come to a fork in the trail I suggest that you take the East trail and stay the path until you reach your destination. If you are worthy you will find our treasure located near the trail at the coordinates of (N 28º 58.136', W 096º 32.226'). Please sign our log book, and remember to be respectful of those that may come after you. If you take from our treasure we only ask that contribute another item of similar value.
