Defiance among the nobles
While hiking in the Olompali SHP to the summit of Mt. Burdell. Bootsey and I came upon this interesting area that could double as an acorn orchard. Standing tall and proud stands a lone outcast among the mighty Oaks. How about coming up for a peek at this serene plateau.

The park is currently only open (posted) from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM and like any state park, requires a fee. This is the middle of the winter so the park hours will improve as the days grow longer. For more information please follow this link: (visit link)
