Geocache Description:

Ystradfellte Reservoir is one of a series of caches placed within the Ystradfellte Community in the Brecon Beacons. The series consists of ten caches plus, for anyone who finds all ten, a bonus cache.

Despite Ystradfellte being a fairly wet area, Ystradfellte Reservoir is the only body of water in the Community. It has a surface area of around 0.3 km2 and contains brown trout, for those who are interested in fishing.

The Afon Dringarth flows from the reservoir for about 3.5 km before meeting the Afon Llia. At this point, the rivers merge to form the Afon Mellte, from which the village of Ystradfellte gets its name: "wide valley of the Mellte".

You will find a number printed inside the lid of the container. You will need to make a note of this number in order to open the bonus cache.
