TeamBooya!: I can't find a good replacement location for this one so I'm going to go ahead and archive it. Again, I'm pleased it endured a year in plain site before they finally decided to remove the entire broken phone booth. I guess these have become obsolete as mail boxes!

Geocache Description:

Coords bounce around a lot here but it should be easy enough to figure out. Another urban cache intended to fill in some of the gaps in the French Quarter with easy access for people on cruises who only have a few short hours in the area.

This slightly bigger than a micro container can hold geocoins and is in plain sight so please place back exactly as found so that it appears a part of its surroundings. Very high muggle area during daylight hours. You don't need to go scrounging around in bushes for this, just take the time to look around you, It is in PLAIN SIGHT!

My arrival in New Orleans three years ago had me sitting right at this spot tearing up to the charming sounds of the steam calliope calling would-be patrons aboard the Natchez riverboat. A few months after the hurricane I heard her sweet sounds once again and rushed out to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Felt like I was home all over again! Hope you feel a bit of the same feeling while seeking this cache.
