Geocache Description:

A pesky cache located at the 40N 124W confluence in the King Mountain range on the Humboldt/Mendocino border.

The cache is located precisely at N40.000000 and W124.000000. This is a confluence that will be listed at www.confluence.org sometime soon. This is about 100 feet off the trail in some brush that's easy to navigate. The cache is contained in a yellow plastic Pelican case at the base where three trees come together. It is easy to find unless it gets covered by fallen leaves. The cache contains a log book that you should write in, and a Polaroid I-zone camera with sticky film. We recommend that you take two pictures, one to stick in the log book and one to take home with you. There are a number of other stickers and small plastics animals you might enjoy.

We think easiest access is a 2 mile hike from the Wailaki Campground. We placed this as a day trip from San Francisco, but it's a pretty long day.
