HHAA - One In A Row Traditional Cache

This cache was originally part of the Hudson Hot Air Affair Geocache Bash 2008. If you found it during that event, you can go ahead and log the find. Cache may be an army surplus ammo can, or a cammo peanut butter jar, or a?????????????

Located along the causeway that originally carried Highway 12 motorists between Minnesota and Wisconsin this hide will require a bit of a hike to find. Note there are many boats and skiffs moored and located along the way. Enjoy the year around views and summer breezes here. Winter may turn this into a windchill challenge.

The Hudson Hot Air Affair is the premier winter ballooning event and winter festival in the Midwest. Thousands of visitors head to the St. Croix Valley community in west central Wisconsin and local residents make it a homecoming every year on the first full weekend in February. About 40 colorful hot air balloons, including special shapes, launch in mass ascensions Saturday and Sunday mornings and light up the night at the Saturday evening Balloon Glow or Field of Fire. Balloonists traditionally attend from Wisconsin, Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Iowa, Illinois and Nebraska.
