Cache is not at the listed coordinates. You will have to find "On the Way to the Top"(GC19DW1) to get the needed info for this cache. This cache is on top of Haystack Butte in the Crooked River National Grasslands at an elevation of 4020'.
This cache requires finding my "On the Way to the Top" cache (GC19DW1) in order to get the required info to find the first and only waypoint of this cache. This info is on a 3x5" card and in the back of the logbook in the "On the Way to the Top" cache. At the waypoint you will find the coordinates for the cache which is at the top of the butte. I would not recommend taking children as the last 400' is steep and has uneven walking conditions. The views are great in all directions. It will probably be windy at the top, no matter when you go, so have a jacket ready even in the hot summer months. It would be good to look at the Ochoco National Forest and Crooked River National Grasslands map in order to avoid any private property in this area. If you head up from the waypoint you will not be on any private property and will not need to cross any fences. You can park at the suggested coordinates for "On the Way to the Top" cache. Have fun, be careful, and be prepared to get some exercise. Left a USA geo-coin for the first finder, you may keep this coin or move it along.
