Geocache Description:

This cache is located along the Perimeter Trail at Merrill Creek Reservoir.

Merrill Creek is one of my favorite parks. It has many scenic views and ample opportunities for hiking, bird watching, and exercising your dog. I was excited when I saw that Walker22 had put some caches around the property. Treasure Skunk and I added one more cache to give people another excuse to visit Merrill Creek.

If you want to grab all of the caches here you could park at the Visitor's Center and do a clockwise hike on the Perimeter Trail all the way around the reservoir. This is around a 6.30 mile hike. If you just want to grab this cache you could park at the observation deck parking lot for a much shorter hike (less than 1 mile roundtrip).
