Lots of parking, good place for CITO; great place to do some bird watching too, if you have a bit of extra time on your trip up the river.
One of my favorite places as a kid was sitting under the Weeping Willow tree in our front yard. With it's droopy tendrils, it was a great place to hide and dream. If you look up-river from this cache, there is a wonderful specimen of this beautiful tree just up the road. The cache is not at this tree only because it wouldn't be a safe location to get to.
But enjoy the beauty of the tree anyway, and dream of cool hiding places in which to weave your fantasies.
The cache honors childhood, and the beginning of that journey of life for our new grandson, TJ, and contains a log and a few small SWAG items. ..the container is something that he took home from the hospital.
