Cache is hidden on the Knolfontein reserve, along the road to Kagga Kamma resort.
Amazing rocky outcrop, does not look like anything from earth.
Located on the Knolfontein reserve, on the road to Kagga Kamma resort - one of the most remote resorts in South Africa. Your GPS will most likely not find any roads to the cache site, but if you follow the Kagga Kamma sign boards from the R303 you can drive to within 60m of the cache. The road from the R303 will take you on about 30km of dirt road - but you do not need a 4x4 to get there.
NB: The owners of the reserve are passionate about preserving this sensitive ecological area. Please take the time to stroll around this amazing area and please-please-please DO NOT drive off the existing road and track.
Can be done in a day, but well worth the while to spend an evening at Kagga Kamma to view the bushman paintings and all it has to offer.
There is no cell phone reception up here.
