tiddalik: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Geocache Description:

This is a lovely little known swimming hole for the kids, tucked away behind the housing estate off Whitegum drive. Access is easiest using the council provided walkway in Wombat crescent between house number 3 and 5, just ignore the dog on the other side of the fence, he doesn't hang about for long after the initial rush.

Keep an eye out for snakes during the summer, this is unspoiled bushland after all.

Alternate access is off Whitegum drive, taking the first track on right from the track leading to the old bridge.

The actual swimming area is in a very private and out-of-the-way spot, so you can rest comfortably while the kids have a paddle in the river.

The new cache is a small plastic tub, close to where the old cache was hidden

There is a photo of GZ available if needed
