Geocache Description:

Coed y Rhaeadr is one of a series of caches placed within the Ystradfellte Community in the Brecon Beacons. The series consists of ten caches plus, for anyone who finds all ten, a bonus cache.

Coed y Rhaeadr is the name given to the waterfalls area of the Ystradfellte Community. The English translation of this name is Woodland of Waterfalls.

This cache isn't hidden near any of the waterfalls themselves, but it is quite close to the Nant Hir, which flows into the Afon Pyrddin before it drops dramatically over the edge of Sgwd Gwladus.

The cache is situated in a pleasant woodland area. Why not try the Day Clan Caches near by

You will find a number printed on the lid of the container. You will need to make a note of this number in order to find the bonus cache.

Permission to place this cache has been kindly granted by the Forestry Commission Llanymddyfri District. Please do not drive on or through any privately owned land in order to reach the cache.
