The Old Brick Church (Southwark Parish) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Episcodad: Verified cache is missing (second time). Perhaps this placement isn't the best. Several logs indicated discomfort at its being so close to a grave. I think I'll place a new cache nearby.

Geocache Description:

Set in the midst of an old cemetery (maintained by the Bacon's Castle Memorial Association), the roofless walls of Lower Church, Southwark Parish present a romantic ruin. Built in 1758, it was gutted by fire in 1868, and it has been maintained as a ruin ever since. In its original form it was a rectangular, colonial Anglican Church having a single doorway on the west end and 5 bays on either side.
