Geocache Description:


It’s hard to imagine that this tiny park situated at the end of this well established neighbourhood was once the site of a tannery. For 40 years P.R. Lamb’s Glue and Blacking Factory spewed noxious chemicals and animal waste into the now lost Lamb’s creek. These practices continued until 1888 when the underinsured building burnt to the ground.

The cache is a screw cap container and some level of stealth is required as there are usually 1 or 2 dog walkers in the park.
