Ocotillo Wells, California
AWARD WINNING
San Diego County
Geocachers have an Adopt-A-Highway and it's that time of year
again to clean it up before the summer heat rolls in.!
WHEN: Saturday, April 5th from
8:30am – 11:00am
WHERE: State Highway 78 between mile markers 84.5 and
86.2 near the conurbation of Ocotillo Wells, CA. POPULATION 150
This is a highway cleanup not a Desert Clean up so please stay
within 40ft of the edge of the road.
There will be a briefing at the posted coordinates. The briefing
will begin at 8 :45am to get instructions, vests, and bags, take a
group photo, and to sign forms. We will then get started and work
until about 11:00 am or whenever the job is complete.
I suggest you bring water. You may find other items
helpful such as long pants, gloves, and sun screen.
Right now it looks pretty clean
(60mph winds helped) Makes no difference if we get 10/20 bags. It's
the spirt of it that counts.
