Kurzer Traditional in Naherholungsgebiet
Die Cachesuche führt dich in die Gurnitzschlucht in der Sattnitz. In dieser naturbelassenen Gegend kannst du Konglomeratfelsen bewundern und einmal einem Feuersalamander, ein anderes Mal einer Gämse begegnen.
Das Gelände ist nicht allzu schwierig, trotzdem wird festes Schuhwerk empfohlen. Ein Helm kann Schutz vor herabfallenden Steinen bieten (kommt selten vor, siehe aber Log von vauce am 27.6.2012 und Log von show master am 22.2.2019!).
Da wenig bis kein GPS-Signal zu empfangen ist, hier eine kurze Wegbeschreibung:
* Parke dein Auto bei: N46 36.168 E14 23.673
* Zweige bei N46 36.091 E14 23.953 nach Süden ab
* Folge dem Bachverlauf ca. 220 m
* Westlich des Baches findest du eine Feuerstelle (bzw. verrußte Nische, ca. 2 - 3 m breit)
* Blicke in Richtung 70°
* Die Dose befindet sich in einer Felsnische in der Ostwand der Schlucht (siehe Spoiler)
The cache is located in Gurnitz Gorgein the mountain range Sattnitz. In this natural environment you may admire conglomerate rocks and sometimes face a fire salamander another time a chamois.
He terrain is not difficult, nevertheless good hiking boots are recommended. A helmet may protect you from falling stones.
As there is poor or no GPS signal use informations below:
* Park your car at N46 36.168 E14 23.673
* Head in a southward direction at N46 36.091 E14 23.953
* Follow the brook for about 700 ft
* In the west of the brook you will find a fireplace (a sooty recess, width about 8 ft)
* Final bearing is 70 degrees
* The box can be found in a niche of the eastern wall of the gorge (see spoiler)
