A small plastic container with toys for kids, log book etc. The
Winnipeg Free Press from June 1941 mentions the park, saying that
it was named for one of Winnipeg's best citizens, Martin R. T.
McKittrick. He gave the land to the city in 1924. According to the
article, he also left the city 1/8 of his estate which paid for the
McKittrick clinic in the Kind Edward hospital (see Iron Lung by
Flotsom and Jetsom)
