This cache was hidden as part of the 4th Annual Vancouver Island Hide and Go Event.
There is a narrow trail right behind the telephone pole at the parking spot. Follow this trail if you can to N48*51.112' W123*41.922' from here there is a really good trail until you get to within 200m of the cache. This is where the trail starts to become tough (look for the pink ribbon) so wear sturdy shoes. When you get out onto the rocky area the trail is less obvious so take your time choosing your route. The container is a painted green lock n lock. There is a $5.00 Tim Hortons gift card for the first to find. Our awesome trail finding dog Mahone helped us a lot with this one.
It may sound hard, but it is a reasonable hike. Mrs. Westcoastwoolies was 5.5 months pregnant when we put it up and she made it just fine. However, could be tough for small children. Enjoy the view.
