Easy access in Tinker Nature Park (closes at dusk)
This is our first cache - an ammo box filled with fun card games and other (non-battery operated) games that we enjoy as a family. Tinker Nature Park is a nice destination for a short hike. This cache is located in an easy to reach section of the park, not far from the trail and should be an easy one for kids to find.
Make sure you stop in and say "HI" to the nice folks at the Nature Center - they are very interested in hearing from people who are using the park, especially geocachers from areas outside of the Town of Henrietta. They also have some very informative displays of local wildlife, including a snapping turtle named BUBBA and a productive beehive that can be viewed from inside the center's classroom space.
