Corenno Plinio
 Corenno Plinio è un'affascinante paese di circa 350 abitanti a picco sul lago,nell’alto Lario, territorio adatto all’insediamento dell’uomo fin dal periodo Neolitico. Nel V secolo a.C. si ha un insediamento gallico.
Sua maggiore attrattiva è il castello Andreani (privato, non visitabile), costruito nel XIV secolo sulle rovine di un'antica fortificazione romana, circondato da alte mura e sovrastato da tre maestose torri merlate. Accanto al castello, la chiesa parrocchiale dedicata a San Tommaso Beckett, conserva pregevoli affreschi e dipinti dal Trecento in poi. La facciata è sormontata da tre arche funerarie in marmo appartenenti ai conti Andreani, feudatari di Corenno dal 1277 al 1797. La più antica, scolpita verso la fine del Duecento, è probabilmente del capostipite Jacopo Andrea, mentre l'ultima, del 1371, ospitò le spoglie di Baldassarre Andreani. Decorate con rari motivi di scultura gotica, i tre monumenti sepolcrali costituiscono un gioiello d'arte di grande valore, esempio unico nel territorio lariano. Dalla piazza del Castello si può arrivare fino al lago scendendo per le erte "callogge", suggestivi vicoli a gradoni scavati nella roccia.
