When visiting this cache, one can find the remnants of an old logging camp. Hidden in the cache is a photo, circa 1911, showing the Chippewa Lumber and Boom Camp, which was located on the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul tracks going North towards Boulder Junction.
Access: Park at the North Trout Lake Nature Trail Parking Lot
Cache is an ammo box with a logbook and fun items for trading.
