This park, also known as the St. Marks Park, is tucked away in a corner of St. Marks that most people don’t drive past. There is a little of everything here…beautiful view, picnic tables, swings, and slides to name a few. There are also huge oak trees that provide nice shade and neat hiding spots for caches! They also make your GPS not work so well so I made the difficulty rating a 2. I hope you enjoy discovering this park as much as I did.
Beware of the large grey ant beds and the muck (not wet sand) by the water's edge. The cache is not in the palms near the nice neighbor's house. He knows all about geocaching though and knows where the cache is located.
This was my first attempt at creating a cache so don’t laugh too hard when you see the camo job I tried to do on the lock and lock container! I’ve started the cache off with a couple of new matchbox cars, some hand sanitizer, a first aid kit, some wet ones, and some sticky wall men.
There is a crisp 2-dollar bill for the FTF inside the logbook.
