Geocache Description:

The stream now known as Western Wella Brook was noted by the Perambulators of the Dartmoor Forest in 1240 (visit link) and this area was a hive of activity for centuries. Near the cache site are pillow mounds (used by warreners to breed rabbits for meat for the tinners working here), Keble Martin's chapel which has recently been used for a marriage ceremony and fields created by walling in parts of the moor. 5 m from the cache site is what appears to be the start of a trough and 100 m downstream in a lovely granite bridge.
