Time. You save it, buy it, waste it, cherish it, lose it,
remember it, check it, share it, allot it, spend it, gain it, watch
it, and value it. As a geocacher, you are constantly trying to find
a few minutes here or there to pick up a cache or looking at your
watch to see if there is time to grab just one more. As a
puzzle-solver, you have undoubtedly spent countless hours doing
research and blankly staring at cache pages, hoping the geocaching
gods would crack the heavens and shower you with solutions. To
acknowledge your commitment to finding cheap plastic containers
meticulously hidden in the woods, I give you another puzzle to
solve……About Time.
The puzzles in the table below are just a few of many that have
kept, are keeping, or promise to keep me (and maybe you) busy for
some time. You do not need to have solved these puzzles to solve
THIS puzzle. Each puzzle title is linked to its cache page as you
may need information from the cache page to help you solve the
puzzle.
To solve this puzzle, you must determine the number associated
with each cache and plug them into the equations below. If you get
stuck, take a step back, get some perspective, and let the solution
present itself to you!
N
(CPM*SSI+L)(CCV-TP)(DB*CPM)(PS+CF)(HOAY-RGH*P)
W
(CPM+CF)(TP*PS-CCV)(HOAY-P)(DB*SSI)(RGH*L-AVS)
There are two pieces of information on the inside of the cache
cover that should be recorded for a future cache. An unactivated TB
and a few lottery tickets await the first few finders; take your
pick and leave the rest for others. A special thank you to all of
the above geocachers for their permission in allowing me to
reference their puzzles.
