MMMMMM Picnic!
Welcome to Blackbutt reserve, the home of the annual illawarra/south coast get together. This year (2008) Myself, the Wife and Cassie the wonder dog could not make it to the get together so we thought a Cache in place of us would be a good thing.
Coming up with the container was Cassie’s idea (don’t worry it’s nothing like her previous efforts). Basically after I broke the news to her that she wasn’t going for a picnic lunch she walked back into her kennel and came out with the container (packed with her favourite picnic goodie’s) and said (because she can talk, just like Scooby Doo) “what will I be doing with all this stuff then?”.
So enjoy Cassie’s Picnic Cache and bring your own picnic any time of the year as it’s a great spot with all top notch facilities and a brand new playground for the geokiddies.
The rules for dogs in this area are a bit confusing. At one point it says no dogs, at another its says they are allowed but must be on a lead so I’ll let you decide whether to bring your own dogs along or to leave them at home.
