This cache has a really neat twist. The coordinates will take
you to a very special headstone. This special marker is
RugerPilot345’s mother (my mom). She loved my geocaching hobby,
although she never really understood it. She would love people
coming by her headstone geocaching. My nickname is Cool!!, so when
you look at the marker you should be able to make sure you are at
the right marker by the family name on the headstone. Once you find
the marker you should now walk 50 feet on a heading of 85 degrees,
this will lead you to the actual cache.
You are looking for an Altoid sized container with logbook and
pencil (always bring your own writing instrument; you know the
drill, hee hee)!!
This is a great cemetery, located abeam Highway 8. It was one of
the new modern style cemeteries that tried utilizing flat markers
to ease maintenance and upkeep. You will note on the western side
of the cemetery they have added a section for raised markers, guess
folks wanted their individualized headstones again.
