You are looking for a container half as high and about the same diameter of a PB jar.
This was originally up high on top of a tree trunk shaped like a tower. Hence the name. Couldn't get a GPS reading closer than 24 feet.
This area is overgrown and muddy and I love it. You can follow the creek up from the south or cross 30 feet in and head north through the trees. If you take this route you will come to a 20 foot fallen tree that will take you back across the creek.
There is trash everywhere and is a perfect opportunity for Cache In Trash Out. If possible, bring a trash sack and help out after you find the cache.
After I placed the cache, I spoke with Mrs. Reed. She lives just southeast of the access area. She has lived in the area for over 20 years and keeps an eye out for unattended cars. I explained who we are and what we do. I also said some members might bring a sack for CITO and she was delighted. She went so far as to say she has extra trash bags if anyone needs one. Mrs. Reed and her granddaughter pick up trash around the area, but she is too old to go into the main area where the cache is. Help out if you can!
The Tower of Ecthelion was 300 hundred feet high and was on the seventh level of Minas Tirith. This made one of the highest parts of the structure.
