This 3.78-hectare former Edwardian park is situated in Edgeley. Stockport council purchased the park in 1908 from H.R. Sykes Esq, owner of the local bleachworks. Unlike its little brother, Cheadle Heath park, see Mersey Stride 04 this park as continues to be maintained. One thing that as changed since I was a kid is the removal of the tennis courts, what a shame.
