Geocache Description:

Not recommended for the unbalanced, and off-trail bushwhacking is required. 'ware the thorns and deer 'beans' though - they are everywhere! SLIPPERY WHEN WET! The cache is *not* at the coordinates given; they are merely the recommended starting point for your crossing. You'll see what I mean. The final container is a large, camo-taped, Lock-n-Lock, holding pretty decent swag... FTF gets an old-style gaming coin from Caesar's own Palace!

On January 10, 49 BC, Julius Caesar made the decision to cross the Rubicon River in Italy with the forces of his army, plunging Rome into a civil war. No one today is exactly sure where he /actually/ crossed the river. It's safe to assume it wasn't in Dodge Park, Omaha, Nebraska, however. But. You are invited to make your own crossing now! You're even free to apply your own name to the thing you have to cross.

This cache is a combination of a mystery cache and a multi-cache; there are two camoed pill bottles you have to find, each holding half the coordinates for the final stage. The twist is that you don't get the coords for the pill bottles - rather, near the end of each branch of the 'Rubicon', make camp, look around, you'll see them soon enough! Please replace carefully, for the next cacher's enjoyment...

After all... who hasn't dreamed of starting a civil war at some point or other? :)

NOTE: will be muddy. :(
