Geocache Description:

When you reach this place the quiet peaceful (lack of) sounds will make you want to nest, too.

Discovered a little side trail when out doing a maintenance run and it led me to a little stream, some beautiful oaks and some real peace a quiet. And like the cache name suggests, it might be nowhere to nest, but you'll sure feel like trying it for a while.

This is another cache located in the Gilley Tract Preserve in eastern Manatee County. You can find a map of the trails and tract information from SWFWMD’s webpage and find out about this 5,800 acre preserve by visiting this link : (visit link)

There are enough multi and single stage caches in this area to make a full day of it so check all the caches that make up the realm of nothingness. You can start you adventure by parking at N27 29.881 W82 18.695 and you can hike or bike to tackle this little challenge, or even tackle it on horseback if you wish (plenty of quiet secluded parking for horse trailers, too). ABSOLUTELY DO NOT try to short cut and park down Oak Knoll Road, a little dirt road that may appear to be a shortcut as this road is marked NO TRESPASSING and it's private. There is a primary path to access the tract lands but this area has a couple different paths to reach. You can head left or right at the parking area and reach the cache from either. You can bike or hike (both of which are a challenge) and tackle this in under two miles but with so much more to do out here you should plan on making a day (or more) of it.

This is a micro cache and hopefully the camo will make you smile, and be sure you bring your own pen. Enjoy the hide and please re-hide this as well as you found it to keep it fun for the next cacher to challenge the Nowhere series.
