This was the bonus cache for the York Micro #1, #2, #3 & #4 caches. each contained part coordinates. However, if one went missing it was frustrating not to be able to get this cache. We cannot change it from a mystery but we have unlocked the waypoint with the final location coords are N 53° 57.749 W 001° 05.22. we guess the only mystery is if cachers can be bothered to notice the update
The box itself is not a micro cache.
The area is closed at night 6pm in Winter but later in Summer.
Watch out for squirrels, peacocks and birds. The squirrels are particularly friendly as they are used to being fed by visitors. Enjoy the view of the Yorkshire Wheel and St Mary’s Abbey while looking for this one.
Look out for the art work on the walls around York. There are lots near this cache. See www.thegrandtourinyork.org.uk for more information. Paintings will be there till 28th Sept 2008.
