This is the first of a planned series of public art.
__ About the artist: Sarah Brill is a contemporary New Zealand
Artist who is steadily gaining recognition in the art world. She
strives to create artwork which is innovative, unique and appealing
to a large audience. Not only does she want her work viewed within
Gallery spaces, she also wants it to be exhibited in Public. She
wants to entice more people to enjoy art.
Many of Sarah’s sculptures are kinetic, powered by the wind. The
tall stainless steel forms seem contradictory in nature as they
gracefully sway in the breeze.
One of the delights of Sarah’s artwork is that the seemingly
hard, often masculine materials are manipulated to create a
surprisingly delicate effect.
__ The container is green, easy to grip, but must be closed
properly and stashed carefully as this is a high traffic area.
There's an enclosed playground within earshot of the cache and
public restrooms are right across the street.
Several nice restaurants are nearby if you want to try this one
in the evening.
Three other caches are easily within walking distance, so check
out the area.
