2nd Annual MARC Geocache Bash being promoted by the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg. This event is being held at the Municipal Activity and Recreation Complex located in Dayspring, just outside of Bridgewater, overlooking the LaHave River.
Morning information sessions will be from 10-12 a.m. Beginner workshop and What's In You Pack workshops will be held.
Event registration will be from 12-1 p.m.
Lunch will be available on site for a small fee.
A hiking stick to be raffled has been donated by Eastriver with a MARC Geocache Bash II coin in the head.
Coins have just arrived for this event and will go on sale at noon.
Afternoon activities to start at 1 p.m. include demo caches, kids cache, closest to the pin, 50/50, geo-cacher bingo, geocoin displays and door prize draws.
The Three Geeks Outdoor Store and The Trail Shop will be on site.
There are 100+ caches within a 15 km radius of this event. The municipality is an avid supporter of geocaching as an equal recreational opportunity for everyone, having caches located in their parks throughout the county.
