Deeded in 1860, Union Prairie Cemetery is located east of Brandon, WI. If you look north and east, you will see the flat terrain that inspired it's naming.
The earliest interment was Eugene Daniels, who passed away in 1854. A one room school house, with a large merry-go-round, stood on the east side of this lot. As a prank, the high school boys would lift the merry-go-round off it's center pivot post, and carry it off to parts unknown. They always returned it after a few days...
The cache is not on any markers. If a funeral is in progress, please return at a later time.
The container is a camotaped pill bottle.
Congrats to jcak1979 on find # 1000!
