Third in a series of local interest – virtual caches in the Williamsburg / Jamestown region. 11/11/03 - Increased terrain and difficulty ratings for this cache due to extensive fallen tree obstacles from Hurricane Isabel that now block one of the routes to access this spot. Approach to the cache is now by foot only - about 1.5 miles round trip from recommended parking.
Sometimes I lead, sometimes I follow. You can no longer drive or ride to this spot, but you can still jog or walk to this spot down an old valley road. Nearby lives a famous resident of Williamsburg who wrote and sang about a road very much like this one.
