2008 Fall Picnic Meet & Greet
Muscatatuck Park

Kicking off the 2008 Fall Picnic weekend with a Friday evening Meet
and Greet. Muscatatuck is a beautiful park and the park management
has bent over backwards to help make this an enjoyable event.
This year’s event is a CHILI DUMP! Everyone is asked to pull out
those recipes and whip up a batch of your favorite homemade chili.
A couple of rules on the chili:
1. Please don’t go overboard. We only need 1 quart (that's about 4
cups) of chili from each family or individual attendee.
2. All chili should be ready to serve. No unopened canned goods.
Nothing frozen. There is no time to cook or thaw your contribution.
3. If you are bringing Cincinnati style chili, please let us know.
It will be put in a separate pot to maintain that style of flavor.
All other chili will be dumped into one pot.
Hot dogs, buns, condiments, plates, bowls, napkins and plasticware
will be provided. All you need to bring is non-alcoholic drinks,
your homemade chili, and a chair.
The event will be held behind the Dining Hall. The night begins at
7:00 p.m.. All chili will be heated at that time and serving will
begin at 7:30 p.m. The event closes promptly at 10:00 p.m.
The NIGHT CACHE will begin at 9:00 p.m.. Participants will be
required to collect information throughout the event. Information
will be collected by 11:00 and the winner will be announced on
Saturday at the picnic. P.S. Don’t forget your flashlights.
Camping will be within walking distance of the event. Reservations
should be made through the Muscatatuck reservation service.
Registration for the Meet and Greet should be completed on the
IndiGo Fall Picnic Registration Form. Although notes posted on this
page are encouraged. They DO NOT register you for the event. Name
tags for the event will be made from the information submitted
through the IndiGo Fall Picnic Registration Form ONLY.
