In Bigelow Hollow State Park, Union, CT. Park in the "Bigelow Hollow Picnic Area & Trail Head Parking" parking lot. The hike to this cache isn't very long, but it can be steep.
This cache is contained in an olive green ammo box. Because this is located at the 42nd parallel, everything in here relates to the number 42: Sports and non-sports trading cards (all numbered 42), 1942 lucky pennies and other 1942 coins, Scooby Doo comic #42, maps with the 42nd parallel on them, and a compass. Take your picture with the enclosed camera and log your visit in the log book.
The state park charges admission Memorial Day through Labor Day on weekends and holidays.
